Route description
Mythenbad - hairpin bend in Hasliwald
From the Mythenbad (parking lot at the edge of the forest) follow the marked trail in the direction of Holzegg to the road and continue along this to the following hairpin turn at about 1215 m in the Hasliwald.
Hairpin bend in Hasliwald - start of the route
From the hairpin bend at about 1215 m, follow the track which leads west into the forest. At the end continue to the right until you can bypass the rock band on its right (red dots, faint tracks, avalanche cone in spring). Then head steeply up though the forest to its upper edge (mostly pathless). Traverse horizontally to the left underneath the Geissstock wall along a trail that leads to a small gap in the Adlerspitzli-SE ridge, where a cemented bolt marks the start of the route.
Variant from Holzegg
A 15 min descent from the top station at Holzegg brings you to the same hairpin bend.
