Salbitschijen 2985 m Alpine climbing

The towers of Salbitschijen emerge like arrows aimed towards the sky. The minute you lay eyes upon them, you will fall under their spell. Their allure and magnificence easily matches the grandeur of the granite needles above Chamonix. Some of the most beautiful pages of Swiss mountaineering have been written here, routes like the Südgrat, Westgrat, Niedermann and Villiger, to name a few.
